The legacy of 3 Cows & A Cone began over 34 years ago when we took over the day-to-day operation from Farquhar's dairy. When Farquhar's wanted to leave the retail end of selling their famous ice cream, we gladly stepped up! While Farquhar’s have now stopped making ice cream they still service us with a wide variety of delicious ice-creams sourced from various dairies across the province. We have also added a wide variety of scrumptious food items to the menu, making sure we have something for everyone to enjoy.
The Anchor has been around since 1888 and as you can see by the artist’s painting it is quite a place. It is in many ways a fixture in this area of Ontario and we have spent a lot of effort bringing it up to its former glory. We think it has the best location on Manitoulin. Today, The Anchor is a full service restaurant and bar. The rooms upstairs are now long term rentals. Our catering business is also very well known.
Enjoy a round of golf on "Manitoulin's Old Course". Established in 1964, the 9 hole course has stood the test of time with an expert design that both welcomes the occasional golfer while testing those with more skill. The Garden’s Gate symbolizes our down-to-earth, back-to-basics approach meant to inspire a feeling of belonging and happiness. For many, the Garden's Gate represents a pathway to nature, beauty and the comforts of home. These are all the feelings we hope to instill in you through our fresh meals and warm hospitality. Operating as a restaurant for the past 50 years, the Garden's Gate was originally built as a farmhouse in the 1800’s. What started as a place for travelers to stop for a bowl of soup has since transformed into much more. While ownership has changed hands multiple times in its history, the restaurant has maintained a magical ambiance unmatched by any ordinary restaurant.

Welcome to Loco Beanz Coffee House! Manitoulin’s first (specialty) and locally owned coffee house. Our (goal) is to provide you with a superior customer experience and serving you a superior product. Loco Beanz is known for its premium cup coffee, espresso drinks and teas. The delicious grilled panini sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches – all made fresh when you order. Established in 2005 in the beautiful port of downtown Little Current, Loco Beanz boasts a spectacular view while sipping on a great cup of coffee. Two other Manitoulin locations opened within the next four years in Gore Bay and Manitowaning. All independently owned in each community! Each location believes in shopping and supporting local.
The Manitoulin Hotel & Conference Centre is a new and unique property located on the North Channel of Lake Huron on beautiful Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada. The hotel features 47 traditional guest rooms, 4 suites, and 7 wheelchair accessible rooms/business suites. Split Rail Brewing Company produces high quality, small batch beer and soda on the largest freshwater island in the world - Manitoulin Island. Founders Andrea Smith & Eleanor Charlton began brewing in a garage in 2010, and opened Manitoulin Island’s first craft brewery in 2015 in Gore Bay, Ontario, with solid community support and a Kickstarter campaign.
