About Split Rail Brewery

Founders Andrea Smith & Eleanor Charlton created Manitoulin Island’s first craft brewery, Split Rail Brewing Company in 2012.

After a Kickstarter campaign and an extensive search for the ideal site, Split Rail launched in 2015 in scenic Gore Bay, on the shores of Lake Huron’s North Channel.

Enjoy our licenced patio with lakeside views.

Our tasting room offers beer samples, by the 12oz glass, beer to go, merch and brewery tours.

About 3 Cows and a Cone

This is Manitoulin’s largest ice cream parlour, conveniently located just past the swing bridge in Little Current, where all of the many flavours provided by the local dairy, Farquhar’s, are scooped (and you’re sure to be consuming a bit of cream from an Island dairy farm when you’re enjoying ice cream here.)

Fast and not-so fast foods are also on the menu: pizza is a specialty and the sandwich options are innumerable. Fish and chips a specialty, open late.
